Look Out Below!!

In reference to some of my son's favorite movies...Toy Story.  You know the one where Buzz and Woody end up in the hands of the neighbors little boy.  The little boy has a fascination with destruction.  Anything that he can do to destroy his toys, he's game.  I wanna say that's the first movie but after seeing all 3 over and over and over and over again, they kinda mesh together after a while.  If objects in my house actually came alive when noone's looking, they'd be running for cover yelling "HELP! HELP!"  Not entirely to sure that they don't have a mind of their own since at the moment most of them are hiding in the oddest places :)  Brianna has decided that destruction is her newest phase in life.  One that is about to drive me bonkers!  If it can be torn, thrown, bounced, eaten, ripped apart, poured out, sprayed etc., she thinks it's the best thing next to sliced bread.  Already in the last 2 days, she has picked an old light bulb out of the garbage and tried to bounce it on the floor, make art out of dishwashing liquid (which is now getting the perfect view from the window sill), make snow out of paper towels (it has snowed in our kitchen at least 5 times already, the paper towels are now cowering behind the sugar as we speak), several toys have ended up in half ("want broken" is how Brianna says it), most anything that can be bounced such as balls, hangers, wooden spoons, you name it have been thrown at least once.  All my glass breakables are now safely hiding in my dark storage closet...at least it gives me incentive to have some of my stuff already packed for when the house sells.  Always a positive side to things.  The knives in my kitchen have decided to visit my coffee in the coffee cabinet in a small box since Brianna has concluded that the utensil draw is interesting. Looks like my knives and coffee are going to be close friends for a while.  The funny part about the whole thing is that it seems that there is a point to all this madness.  She actually wants to change these things for a reason. Almost like creating her own hypothesis and experimenting to get her results.   Her speech has actually improved as she's trying to figure out what else she wants to experiment on.  I have the mad scientist living right under my roof.  So if we ever decide to come have a visit at your house, you might want to mention to the objects in your house to take cover and hide.  My twin sister never seems to have a problem with that.  Her objects at this point have designated hiding places.  Smart move sis.
